I was fortunate enough to discover the benefits of a wellness lifestyle at an early age. Unfortunately, it came with a price. When I was fifteen years old, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the time, it was the most devastating news imaginable, but looking back, I am grateful for the experience because it—more than anything else in my life—has shaped who I am today.
After a successful surgery to remove the tumor, I began the recovery process. It was during the months of rehab and recovery that I discovered the benefits of exercise, proper nutrition, and maintaining a positive attitude. It wasn’t until a few years later that I sought out chiropractic care and truly began living a wellness lifestyle.
I believe that it was this wellness lifestyle that helped me survive another brain tumor just a few years ago. Throughout the challenging and lengthy recovery, I remained optimistic and focused on nourishing my body for health. I truly believe that if I had not dedicated myself to making better choices regarding my health so many years ago, I would not be in the position I am today.
The struggles and challenges that I overcame fuel my desire to help others reclaim their health. I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to move well, eat well and think well—to live a WELLadjusted life—and I want to share this belief and passion with others. By applying what I have learned over the years, I want to help others shift from feeling discouraged to feeling hopeful, restored and rejuvenated. As they say, “We’re all going through something,” and I want to be a partner on your journey.
